BIOS configure Booting Device


Description

What is BIOS? BIOS is stand for Basic Input Output System, that normally used to configure the internal device(RAM Central Processing Unit, Motherboard and else) or external Peripheral (Hard disk, USB device, CD Rom Drive and else). For more information visit here.

Enter  into BIOS

When your PC is turned on pressing the delete key on your keyboard then you can enter your BIOS setting. If cannot restart your PC and retry.

Tips: Normally when the PC turned on you can keep pressing or hitting the Delete Key to enter.



How i know i enter into BIOS?

The Picture show above is example of BIOS setup page, different brand of motherboard may have different user interface.

Look for Boot setting

Look for a boot setting inside the BIOS page by moving the arrow key and enter key. From picture 1.0 you can see that the boot already display on the list at the top, go to that page by moving arrow key and enter key to enter.

The above picture which is picture 1.2 already show that you enter into the booting page, so to allow your CD or DVD ROM Drive to boot as primary device just change 1st boot device.

Don't know which device is your CD or DVD ROM Drive?

The CD or DVD ROM Drive is depend on your brand you using, normally it show as Brand'sName follow by Model Number  such as SAMSUNG(Model number) or LG(Model number)  or Sony(Model number).

For Hard disk is same Brand's Name follow by Model Number such as Seagate(Brand Number) or WD(brand Number)

Press F10 to save your setting and exit.

After the PC is restart then press any key before it log into the window in order to boot your CD or DVD ROM Drive.

Note: it is not recommended to change other setting inside the BIOS.
