Take care cactus or succulent plants

Cactus or succulent plant normally grow in environment that dry and less humidity, so in order to grow a cactus you have to simulate the environment.

I live in Tropical rain forests so it is a bit harder to grow a cactus in the opening environment, here opening means that the cactus is not cover by any of the rooftop and direct expose to sunlight and rain water.

cactus will rot if it absorb too much of water so it is good to keep them in a green house. on the other hand it can prevent the bug from the cactus.

Here is some tips to grow and take care a cactus

• Always use pot that contain hole to drain the waste water
• Mixed 75 % sand and 25 % compost soil for your cactus (better drainage for water)
• change your pot every 2 to 3 years depend on the density of the roots (too many roots will cause the water to trap inside the pot and rot the roots)
• placed your cactus direct to the sunlight for 4 - 8 hours a day.
• Keep your cactus or succulent in green house to prevent over watering or bug attack.
• Fertilise your cactus every half year with ratio 10:10:10 (Nitrogen: Phosphorus : Potassium)

so when is the cactus need to watering?
When soil start to show crack mark like the picture show in this link. then you can start to watering your the cactus. or test the soil dryness level by using a wood stick. Any wood stick that can absorb water that can use for testing the dryness level. 

1. Place the wood stick deep in the soil.
2. Wait for 10 minutes
3. examine the wood stick for water mark
4. if no water mark then your cactus is ready for watering
5. if there is water mark then wait for few day and examine the dryness again.

Dead Car Batteries

A dead car batteries will happen once your car never startup for few days to several week(depend on your car accessories (The alarm system, Radio, Lamp and etc.) draining power from the battery),  

The alarm system for modern car is drawing the most power from the battery, so normally your car battery will die off within a week or 2 week. You can turn off the alarm system or disconnect the batteries for avoid dead car batteries.

Bad car batteries will show several signed

- Reading voltage below 12.6 volt (measure by multi meter DC range)

- Acid leaking from the batteries

- Front lamp of the car still showing Dim after hookup the battery

- The voltage of the car batteries totally 

- Alarm of the car sound weird or no energetic

it may cause of dead cell in your car batteries so this issue means it can not be repaired, what you can do is buy a new batteries from you local shop and replace it follow by this link below
